Subject: President's Message- NCRE Student Representative

Dear NCRE Members,

As you recently saw with Ms. Atwal's email, applications are
open for the next NCRE Student Representative. For faculty members at
doctoral granting institutions, I request as NCRE President that you
share this notice with any of your current doctoral students that have
the talent for and interest in, taking a leadership role in the
rehabilitation counseling profession. Please let your students know
that NCRE will cover the travel and accommodation costs for the
student representative to attend the annual Fall and Spring
conferences. Please feel free to direct any interested students that
have questions about this position to contact me at 619-594-6921 or by
email at cdegenef at mail.sdsu.edu.
NCRE is increasingly looking for the involvement of students to
present, lead, and mentor new professionals, so your help in promoting
this opportunity is needed and very much welcome. In line with this,
at our upcoming conference in Manhattan Beach, students will have
several opportunities to network with current faculty and with other
Masters and Doctoral students. More on this will be communicated when
the full conference program is set.

Best wishes,
