Show, by your actions, that you choose peace over war, freedom over oppression, voice over silence, service over self-interest, respect over advantage, cooperation over competition, action over passivity, diversity over uniformity, and justice over all.

Hi all:

I'm just finishing a revision of The World of the Counselor along with its workbook, Experiencing the World of the Counselor (see chapters below). If you have an activity you think would be worthwhile adding to the one of the chapters in the workbook, please e-mail me at: eneukrug at odu.edu
<mailto: eneukrug at odu.edu
>.

When I get your e-mail, I'll send you the chapter that the exercise might fit in so you can take a look at it and see if you think it would make sense to add it.
The chapters are as follows:

Chapter 1: Counselor Identity: What, Who, and How??
Chapter 2: The Counseling Profession's Past, Present, and Future
Chapter 3: Standards: Ethics, Accreditation, Credentialing, and Cross-Cultural and Advocacy Competencies
Chapter 4: Individual Approaches to Counseling
Chapter 5: Counseling Skills
Chapter 6: Couples and Family Counseling
Chapter 7: Group Work
Chapter 8: Consultation and Supervision
Chapter 9: Human Development: Normal and Abnormal
Chapter 10: Career Development
Chapter 11: Research and Evaluation
Chapter 12: Testing and Assessment
