Subject: POSITION: DIRECTOR of COUNSELING PROGRAM

 AVAILABLE:  Waynesburg University is seeking a candidate for a full-time, 12 month, tenure track, Program Director for the Graduate Counseling Program, beginning in January 2011.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled and reviewed on a rolling basis.

SALARY/RANK: Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program, and proven abilities in teaching and scholarship and administrative experience or strong leadership potential required.

RESPONSIBILIIES:  The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration of the graduate counseling programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addictions Counseling as well as teaching some counseling courses.   The graduate counseling program currently enrolls 80 students in four education centers in the Pittsburgh area.  The candidates must have an understanding of teaching at a liberal arts university.  Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
