Counseling/Psychology FACULTY 

The University of Great Falls is a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution that is student-centered and mission-focused, preparing students for living and making a living. The faculty implemented a new core curriculum in fall 2010 with a central focus on team-taught Integrated Learning Community courses. The university is now accepting applications from qualified, experienced and enthusiastic professionals for coursework in this position and in support of the core curriculum. www.ugf.edu 

POSITION:  Full-time tenure-track teaching position in an undergraduate psychology program and in a master's program in counseling.
SALARY:  Range DOQ: $32,000-$45,000
POSITION AVAILABLE:  August 2011

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach a combined total of 12 credits per semester (fall and spring) in the undergraduate Psychology and in the Master of Science in Counseling programs. The graduate-level courses lead to Montana licensure in clinical professional counseling, and undergraduate classes are taught in psychology and addictions counseling.  
Recruit and advise undergraduate psychology, undergraduate addictions counseling, and graduate counseling students; supervise master's level interns in practicum and internship.
Conduct program assessment and development. 
Provide service to the program, university, profession, and community. 
Represent programs on university committees. 
Develop and maintain relations with area counseling agencies, associations, and licensure boards. 
Summer teaching opportunities available and strongly encouraged.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program, Counseling Psychology, or a related field. Licensed as a Professional Counselor (or Montana licensure eligible).
Applicant must have demonstrated success in teaching a broad spectrum of undergraduate and graduate courses, and have a commitment to cultural diversity and social justice.
Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues.
