The candidate selected for this position will (a) supervise the skill development of students in a counseling practicum course, (b) teach two classes per year as assigned, and (c) assist with other program-related duties. Qualifications: doctorate in Counselor Education is highly desired; minimum of a master's degree in counseling or counselor education is required with one year graduate teaching experience. Licensure as a clinical professional counselor is desired. Applicants must have advanced knowledge of group theory, group counseling skills, career theory, and assessments. Experience supervising the skill development of counselor trainees is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from CACREP accredited programs. Salary is competitive.
