Show, by your actions, that you choose peace over war, freedom over oppression, voice over silence, service over self-interest, respect over advantage, cooperation over competition, action over passivity, diversity over uniformity, and justice over all.

Our Programs

Anorexia, Bulimia, and Emotional Eating

The West Shore Center for Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program offers services for those with Anorexia, Bulimia, and Emotional Eating. Group sessions meet three times a week for three hours. Additional hours separate from the group; include individual/family therapy, family support, and appointments with a nutritionist, physician, and psychiatrist. The 10 week program provides the time needed to develop the necessary tools for recovery and prevention of relapse.

 Treatment Overview

Our innovative treatment approach goes beyond the use of evidence-based practices to include unique interactions with horses, creative arts, spirituality, family support, and family meals. Intervention goals are designed to help individuals overcome harmful habits and to uncover core issues that often contribute to anorexia, bulimia, and emotional eating.

 Our Mission

The West Shore Center for Eating Disorders is founded on the belief that by recognizing one’s purpose, strengths, and gifts, participants can live a life full of joy and freedom from the constraints of an eating disorder.

The West Shore Center for Eating Disorders offers a holistic approach for emotional, psychological, and spiritual growth. Recognizing that each individual’s specific needs arise out of underlying causes, the West Shore Center for Eating Disorders partners with each individual to create a tailored treatment plan.

Our caring, licensed, and experienced staff provides hope and encouragement toward healing in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
