SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, the Clinical Specialist will oversee undergraduate and graduate internship placements and program relationships with the community, including documentation. Additionally, position will oversee clinical compliance of the Counseling Skills Center (CSC) and have onsite presence in CSC when students are seeing practicum clients. Salary DOE Position is in Tucson, Arizona.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Doctorate degree in counselor education or related field required. Counselor identity imperative, professional organization membership required. State behavioral health license required.

Must have proven experience in teaching and clinical supervision.

Must possess excellent oral, written, organizational and interpersonal communication skills to communicate with students, faculty and community.

Must possess the ability to convey a professional image as well as effectively represent the University of Phoenix.
