Please consider enrolling for the following course:

EDCE 623H/821H Crisis Intervention
The purpose of this course is to prepare counselors-in-training for the crisis situations they will experience as a counselor working in a school or mental health agency. Through participation in this course, students will gain the strategies, skills, and techniques necessary for crisis intervention situations. Relevant research on crises, resolution, and resilience will be discussed.

It can be taken by master's and doctoral students and would be a valuable elective to take.
