POSTION: An Assistant/Associate Professor position is available in the Department of Clinical Administration and Rehabilitation Counseling, Master of Rehabilitation Counseling Program. This appointment is a tenure/non-tenure track, twelve month, renewable, full time position. PROGRAM: The Master of Rehabilitation Counseling Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is a CORE-accredited, completely online, master level program. TTUHSC is a public institution of higher learning with multiple campuses serving hundreds of miles of West Texas. Located in Lubbock, Texas, the university enjoys moderate weather, low cost of living, and a variety of cultural and civic activities. QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field is strongly preferred. ABD will be considered. Candidates must either be a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or be eligible for certification. A record of professional or scholarly productivity is desirable. DUTIES: Primary duty will be to teach graduate level courses and providing clinical supervision in an online setting for the Master of Rehabilitation Counseling Program. Other duties will include advising students, curriculum development, and engaging in scholarly development. Specific teaching assignments are dependent on department needs and individual expertise.
