Tenure-Track Faculty Position Announcement

Brief Description of Duties/Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be expected to teach four courses per semester.  These courses include but are not limited to systemic theories, assessment, couples therapy, and practicum and internship supervision.  The candidate may also be expected to provide on-site supervision.  All faculty share student advising and committee assignments.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have earned doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field by time of appointment.  Candidates should demonstrate evidence of experience as a marriage and family therapist.

Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of teaching at the university - level in a graduate program is highly desirable. Candidates must also provide evidence of ability to engage in meaningful scholarship/creative activity, leading to presentations at professional meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals in the discipline, with a demonstrated record of scholarship/creative activity.    Clinical membership in AAMFT and AAMFT Approved Supervisor status or eligibility are preferred.
