Show, by your actions, that you choose peace over war, freedom over oppression, voice over silence, service over self-interest, respect over advantage, cooperation over competition, action over passivity, diversity over uniformity, and justice over all.

The Methods for Utilization of Visual Constructs in Therapy

Friday, June 17, 2011
9:00 am - 12:15 pm
Registration and refreshments 8:30 am - 9:00 am
3 CEUs*/ $69

Presenter: Roger Buese, M.A., M. Div., LPCC-S
Adjunct Faculty Baldwin-Wallace College, Psychology Department
Counselor at Avenues of Counseling & Mediation, Medina

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This presentation will introduce the dry erase board and flip chart as effective tools to help clients visualize their therapeutic process. Artistic skills are not necessary to become proficient at drawing or having the client draw important concepts in their therapeutic journey. Just writing the words they say can be a powerful and revealing exercise. Topics covered will include working with children, couples, parenting skills, finances and visualizing basic concepts rather than just talking about them.
Seeing is believing
