We will discuss the debate between the psychogenic and biological origins of anxiety, interpersonal neurobiology, and the psychopharmacology of some commonly prescribed medications. Emerging research and cutting-edge advances in the origin, diagnosis, and treatment of various anxiety disorders will be presented.
