Subject: JOB POSTING: Publisher Seeking Textbook Development Assistance

Greetings and good morning.

Are you interested in making a few extra bucks, while adding a line to your CV? Do you have writing plans of your own and want to form a relationship with a major publisher? Are you frustrated by the quality (or quantity) of available supplemental resources that accompany the textbooks you use when teaching? Do you enjoy tinkering with your syllabus and lesson plans, creating your own activities, lectures, and assignments, to continually improve the course experience for both you and your students?

If any of the above sounds familiar, we invite you to consider the following opportunity:

***
Routledge Publishers is seeking qualified Doctoral Students and Counselor Educators to develop ancillary support materials for our textbooks in counseling, psychotherapy, and related mental health topics. Examples of resources to be created would include a test bank, powerpoint slides, instructor's manual, chapter summaries/outlines, key terms & definitions, annotated weblinks, case studies, sample syllabi, and other materials relevant to the specific book and course. Projects would be contracted on a freelance basis as a work for hire. Teaching experience within counselor education or a related discipline is required. If you are interested, please submit a resume and relevant writing sample to Dana Bliss, Senior Editor at Routledge Mental Health at dana.bliss at taylorandfrancis.com
<mailto: dana.bliss at taylorandfrancis.com
>. Dana and his colleagues will be attending the ACES conference in Nashville, TN October 26-30 and will be available to meet and discuss this opportunity in person at the Routledge booth in the exhibit hall.
***

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to seeing many of you in Nashville next month!

Cheers,
Dana
