The Mentoring Institute would like to extend you a cordial invitation to attend the 2011 Mentoring Conference. The theme for this year’s conference is “Learning Across Disciplines.” The conference will focus on uniting mentoring scholars and practitioners from around the world to build a collaborative network of ideas and support. The hope is to extend mentoring across university disciplines and encourage the establishment of mentoring programs in all fields of study.

At this year’s conference, the keynote speaker will be David Clutterbuck, co-founder of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. He has advanced the field of mentoring extensively in Europe, publishing more than 50 books and hundreds of articles addressing innovative mentoring, management, and coaching themes.

We invite you to join us for the pre-conference workshops on “Developing Effective Mentoring Programs” and "Mentoring Best Practices in Higher Education", plenary sessions, and more than 100 presentations addressing mentoring best practices related to this year’s theme. Please, find attached the conference agenda and feel free to share this information with people that might be interested in attending.
