From: Schoepke, Amber Sent: Monday, April 16, 2012 9:36 AM To: Leinbaugh, Tracy Cc: Davis, Thomas; Bhat, Christine Subject: Reminder Email about Opportunity for OU Counseling Students Greetings Dr. Leinbaugh, Thank you for forwarding the link to my dissertation study entitled "Factors Related to the Ability of Master's-Level Counseling Students to Accurately Identify Ethical Dilemmas" (IRB Approval # 12E073) to examine the relationship between certain variables, such as how ethics education is addressed in counseling program curriculum, and the ability of students to identify ethical dilemmas from case vignettes. I would like to remind Ohio University counseling students about this opportunity to participate in a pilot study to help me with this research. I am asking that you please forward this reminder email containing a link to an electronic survey to the master's-level counseling students in your program. This survey will take students approximately 15 minutes to complete and will require no identifying personal information. Students will be asked general demographic information and to respond to a series of brief case vignettes representing common counseling situations. I would be happy to honor requests for study results from both students and faculty in your program. http://ohed.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3jIgnYn9jSWbig4 I am deeply appreciative of your assistance in this important research. Please do not hesitate to contact me or my dissertation chair, Dr. Thomas E. Davis, should you have any questions regarding this study. Sincerely, Amber Schoepke, MSE, NCC Dr. Thomas E.
