> The University of North Texas (UNT) seeks an accomplished research leader (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) with the ability to organize and consolidate social and behavioral science researchers whose work applies to veterans.

> Research areas may include, but are not limited to, veteran service delivery, veterans’ health, posttraumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and other combat injuries and disabilities, family and community reintegration, education, criminality and victimization, addiction, and public policy formulation.

> The successful applicant will be responsible for fostering and contributing to visionary cross‐disciplinary research between departments in the College of Public Affairs & Community Service including Anthropology, Behavior Analysis, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Rehabilitation Counseling, Sociology, and Social Work.

> Candidates must have a doctoral degree from one of the disciplines in the college or a related social or behavioral science discipline and an active record of scholarship in a veteran‐focused area as demonstrated through externally funded research and publications.

> The ideal candidate will have a record of externally‐funded interdisciplinary collaboration focused on veteran’s research. He or she will also have a demonstrated ability to internally organize and consolidate researchers.
