Subject: TWO Mental Health Counseling Faculty Positions



Colleagues,
 
Please take a moment and review the attached job description/announcement for TWO Assistant/Associate level faculty members in the Mental Health Counseling program at Emporia State University.  The position is located in the Department of Counselor Education, which includes graduate programs in Art Therapy & Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and School Counseling.  We also have an undergraduate program in Rehabilitation Services Education.  
 
The Mental Health Counseling Programs is CACREP accredited, and has been for several years.  These positions came available as two members of the Mental Health Counseling Faculty are retiring in May of 2012.  We would prefer a completed terminal degree, however would consider someone with relevant experience at the ABD status.  
 
The Department of Counselor Education is within the Teachers College at Emporia State University, and houses a counseling clinic providing services to the Emporia Community and serves as a training component of the programs.
