[Counselor_Educ] National Award for Current Counselor Education Doctoral Student Sanda Gibson

Sanda Gibson, MA, PCC was recently awarded the Association for Specialists in Group Work (ASGW) Peg Carroll Scholarship. This $2,000 scholarship is awarded annually to honor Marguerite "Peg" Carroll, former ASGW President and pioneer in group work. The purpose of the award is to support the study of group work and further the understanding of group dynamics. Sanda submitted an application outlining her plan to develop a theme group for college students with ADHD. The group will emphasize psychoeducation and skills training. The award will be presented at the ASGW luncheon at the ACA convention in San Francisco.
