The Director will be charged with creating the necessary infrastructure and launch the Center's operations. The Director will be expected to take ownership for positioning the Center as the most credible source for practical information about the counseling industry. Primary responsibilities include developing a strategic vision for the Center; establishing processes and procedures necessary to solicit, fund and disseminate research sponsored by the Center, and managing all aspects of the research funding and review processes including all contractual requirements. Qualifications include an advanced degree in the areas of Professional Counseling or Policy Development, with an interest in the area of ethics, and experience in program development and implementation with an emphasis in budget management.
