We hope to meet with interested doctoral students at the AOCC on Friday, Nov 2, at 3:50. This will be an informal organizational meeting held in the “comfy chair” area of the lobby near the Starbucks. We are hoping to have coffee and conversation with those doctoral students who might be looking for ways to make membership in OACES more relevant and want to take on a more meaningful role in the organization. Dr. Dollarhide and I believe if we can get people active in the organization while students, they will be more likely to carry on that tradition after they graduate. So, we are asking that you please “spread the word” to your students and let them know that we will be looking forward to meeting with them at AOCC.
