The position is located at the Corvallis campus where the counseling program offers a Ph.D in Counseling and a MS in Counseling (school focus) through Ecampus. We are actively seeking candidates who have the training and experiences to contribute to the training, supervision and mentoring of doctoral students in counselor education and engage in research and grant-writing as a part of a forward-thinking team. This position also includes teaching responsibilities in the master's program and service to the College of Education, Oregon State University, and the counseling profession. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and evidence of the following: an active and productive research program, successful teaching and advising of counseling students, completion of a school counseling or clinical mental health counseling license or certification program, external funding experience and commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Desirable qualifications include a Ph.D from a CACREP accredited program, a distinguished record of post-doctoral research, expertise applicable to cultural/linguistic diversity or STEM anxiety/motivation/self-efficacy research, successful advising of counselor education doctoral student research, and successful funding experience.
