We have an exciting and engaging conference planned. We are very excited to announce that the Keynote speaker is Froma Walsh, Ph.D., MSW, Chicago Center for Family Health Professor and Emerita, University of Chicago in the School of Social Administration and Department of Psychiatry will be hosting a 3 hour workshop on Wednesday, April 17th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and a Keynote speech on Thursday, April 18th from 8:30am – 9:30am. I am also pleased to share NCRE has established a Ted Daniels' Scholarship Fund. As you may already know, Dr. Ted Daniels' was an esteemed colleague at the University of the District of Columbia. His passion and commitment to the field and his students was well known and respected. The Council on Diversity and Equity has created a scholarship fund in Dr. Daniels’ honor to help expose students to the field he loved so passionately. To raise money for the scholarship, the Council on Diversity and Equity is sponsoring the first annual Dr. Ted Daniels’ silent auction at the NCRE Spring 2013 Conference from Wednesday, April 17th to Friday, April 19th and also selling a t-shirt.
