The Baton Rouge campus is located on Scott's Bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in the northern section of the city of Baton Rouge. The campus encompasses 512 acres of beautiful moss-covered oaks, with an agricultural experimental station on an additional 312-acre site, located 5 miles north of the main campus. The Department of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies offer an undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Services and a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (both on campus and online). The graduate program offers specialization in Assistive Technology (AT), Rehabilitation of Ethnic Minorities (REM), and Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment (VEWA). Currently, the department has two Long Term Training Grants, one Comprehensive System of Personnel Development Grant, and one Rehabilitation Capacity Building Grant from Rehabilitation Services Administration, U. Also, it has a Minority Disability (MIND) Alliance for Student with Disabilities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) from National Science Foundation.
