Spirituality & Counseling      EDCE 6900      5767    100      Wed. June 11 9:00 am-4:45 pm

*         This course focuses on perceptions of spirituality in clinical settings. Students will have the opportunity to engage in a process of self-exploration to enhance their awareness of spirituality and their own spiritual development. In addition, students will learn how to engage in discussions with clients about spiritual wellness as it relates to mental health.


Social Anxiety                        EDCE 6900      5769    101      Fri. June 13     9:00 am-4:45 pm
& Panic Disorder

*         This course will provide students with a systemic approach to recognizing and interpreting symptoms of anxiety and providing a clinical diagnosis. In addition, students will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of diverse expressions and interpretations of human behavior as it relates to the construct of anxiety and normal growth and development.


Domestic Violence                 EDCE 6900      5771    102      Fri. June 20     9:00 am-4:45 pm

*         This course focuses on counseling children in abusive homes, and perpetrators of domestic violence. Students will have the opportunity to learn specific interventions for individual and group counseling in school and community settings.
