> On behalf of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) I am excited to invite you to the 15th Annual National Rehabilitation Educators Conference in Newport Beach, CA, to be held on April 22-24, 2015.
>
>
>
> Our 2015 conference is an opportunity for rehabilitation educators, practitioners, researchers, trainers, students and HRD personnel to submit proposals that address state of the art practices and future directions in rehabilitation education and research. Both empirically based (qualitative and quantitative) and conceptually oriented proposals are invited.
>
> This year’s conference theme “Broadening Our Horizon Through Collaboration: Opening the Box and Talking” encourages proposals focusing on current issues in rehabilitation education, practice and research.
>
> The areas of focus include:
> Pedagogy: Rehabilitation graduate and undergraduate education
> Psychosocial Adjustment: Factors in the development of efficacious and effective clinical rehabilitation practices (Fong, Cardosa, Chronister, 2009)
> Evidence-Based Practice and Outcomes in Rehabilitation
> Universal Design: Work, Play, and Education
> International Rehabilitation: Current, New, and Promising Practices and Relationships
