This is a 12-month appointment. The Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies includes the Rehabilitation and Career Counseling Master's Degree program (begun in 1967); the Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling Master's Degree Program (1988); the B.S. in Rehabilitation Services (1994), and the Ph.D. Program in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration (2005). Enrollment includes 22 doctoral, 60 masters, and 57 undergraduate students. The Department has 10.5 state-funded positions, state-of-the-art classrooms and counseling labs, and an in-house counseling clinic, Navigate, staffed by graduate students and faculty. East Carolina University is a Doctoral/Research University located in Greenville, North Carolina. With a student body of over 28,000 students, it is an expanding institution that is the medical center of eastern North Carolina. University health facilities include a medical school, a large regional hospital, a health education center, and the Colleges of Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, and the School of Dental Medicine.
