Greetings:

I hope this message finds you all doing well and enjoying the summer weather.

Just wanted to forward a message with regard to job openings for recent College Grads in the Zanesville and surrounding areas (read below).
Please forward to anyone with whom you think would be a great candidate. If you would like to submit name(s) and contact information, the Director has offered to follow-up on the lead. MCCF is struggling to find candidates this year, so any assistance would be appreciated!

Sincerely,

~WillaMarie

Subject: Urgent! Scholarship Central Seeking Ohio College Guides

Hello Zanesville Team!

Scholarship Central is still seeking individuals who have a two or four year degree who would like to give back to their community. We are recruiting talented individuals who want to make a difference to join the Ohio College Guides AmeriCorps team. A total of seventy positions will be available statewide, with 4 located in Zanesville. Positions begin in August 2016. Interviews are taking place this week!

If you know of anyone who might be interested in learning more about our AmeriCorps Ohio College Guide positions, please forward this information on to them. Below, please find a description of our program and some of the benefits of joining AmeriCorps. You can also find specific duties here: https://my.americorps.gov/mp/listing/viewListing.do?id=54820&fromSearch=true.
The AmeriCorps Ohio College Guide program places recent college grads into middle schools, high schools and community centers to serve alongside professional school counselors and other school faculty to help guide traditionally underserved young people and get them the information and knowledge they need and deserve to prepare for, access and complete a postsecondary credential.

In return for providing 1,700 hours of service over 11 months, AmeriCorps Ohio College Guide members will receive:

  * compensation that includes up to an $12,530 living allowance, health insurance, and a $5,730 Education Award that can be used to repay qualified student loans or for future education expenses. (Also, qualified federal student loans may be deferred for the duration of the 11-month term of service.)
  * Ample training, professional development and networking opportunities and a support and advising system for your avenues of interest – graduate school, teacher licensure program, career building – for “Life After the Corps.”
  * An overall great entry-level career experience.
  * The opportunity to make a difference and help students reach their higher education dreams.

If you have any questions or would like to submit your resume, please feel free to contact us at scholarshipcentral at mccf.org
<mailto: scholarshipcentral at mccf.org
>. As I mentioned before, we are moving very quickly and are setting up interviews for this week.

Best,
