Please see attached, or visit http://www.ursuline.edu/About/Human_Resources/job_opportunities.html Ursuline College Counseling and Art Therapy Department Pepper Pike, OH (Greater Cleveland Area) Tenure Track Faculty, Counseling and Art Therapy Ursuline College, a small liberal arts college located on a tranquil campus outside of Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to assume teaching and advising responsibilities in its graduate Counseling and Art Therapy Program beginning August 15, 2015. The program provides education and training in clinical mental health counseling and art therapy, and is approved by the Ohio Counselor Board and the American Art Therapy Association. The program is seeking CACREP accreditation, and a spring 2017 CACREP site visit is scheduled. Required Qualifications: * Doctorate in Counselor Education preferably from a CACREP accredited program OR full time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. * Active participation in state, national, and local professional organizations * Evidence of continuing scholarly work and research agenda * Competence in teaching Preferred Qualifications: * Preferred master’s degree in art therapy with an ATR-BC, and/or have an affinity for creative and expressive approaches * Licensed PCC or license eligible in Ohio, preferably with supervisory status * Administrative skills * Research grant writing experience * Experience in addictions services a plus Candidates must have excellent communication skills, flexibility, mature judgment, and a commitment to teaching in a creative, collaborative and values-based environment with a focus on promoting individual student success. Responsibilities include: · Teaching graduate level counseling courses · Advising students and participating in student candidate interviews · Participating in college committee work · Assisting with departmental responsibilities such as accreditation, curriculum and program development, practicum and internship, thesis, and fulfilling other duties as assigned For full consideration, interested applicants should submit a curriculum vita, official copies of all university transcripts, three letters of professional reference and a letter of application that includes the applicant’s philosophy of teaching.
