A microaggression is "a brief, everyday exchange that send denigrating messages to certain individuals because of their group membership" (Sue, 2010). In today's society, microaggressions are directed towards many marginalized groups, whether people are cognizant of them or not. Join us in this webinar as leaders from the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA), and Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC) collaborate to bring awareness to microaggressions and the mental health implications of them among minority groups.

At the conclusion of this training, attendees will be:
· Create awareness surrounding the common occurrences of the intersection microaggresions.
· Explore the outcomes associated with the experience of the intersection microaggressions.
· Discover techniques to minimize the occurrence of the intersections of microaggressions and ways to respond when someone has been microaggressive.
