The candidate will be committed to excellent teaching and counselor education, have strong counseling and clinical skills, expertise in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and experience in CACREP accredited counseling programs. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic newly formed Counseling Department that has merged 3 well established graduate counseling programs; clinical mental health counseling, school counseling and rehabilitation counseling. Responsibilities include a 3-3 graduate teaching load, coordinating practicum and internship placements, supervising fieldwork, engaging with community agencies, participating in departmental and college activities, being affiliated with professional counseling organizations, and engaging in professional, research and scholarly activities. Required qualifications: An earned doctorate in Counselor Education, Licensure or licensure eligibility in Massachusetts, three years' clinical experience and has demonstrated excellence in teaching and supervision; demonstrated or potential line of scholarship. Preferred qualifications: graduate of a CACREP-accredited program, experience coordinating clinical experiences; experience with online and blended learning; experience working with diverse populations and commitment to diversity and social justice education.
