Have you ever wondered what contributes to your sense of connectedness within your counselor training program? Do you want to know more about how your program contributes to your success? We are a research team consisting of the 2017 CACREP Research Initiative for Graduate Students (CRIGS) research fellows, along with a faculty advisor. Please consider voluntarily participating in the following survey research about students’ satisfaction in counselor training programs. Participation should only take 15 minutes. Only group data is being gathered, so we will not know how any one person responded. Any information gathered by this survey will NOT impact a program’s present or future CACREP accreditation status. At no time will an individual’s responses be reported to the participant’s program or to CACREP. Researchers are hopeful that the results of this study will help CACREP to identify how they can support students’ success in counselor training programs. Your participation is completely voluntary and you are free to “opt out” at any time. This project has been approved by the IRB at Syracuse University. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the researchers, Jessie Darkis (207-951-0807), and Dr. Mike Kalkbrenner (585-355-8780), or the Principal Investigator and faculty advisor of this study, Dr. Melissa Luke, at 315-443-5265.
