Each year, ACC awards two research grants, one for professional members and one for student members. Practitioners are encouraged to apply! Each award is worth $250.00. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>The purpose of these awards is to support research that<i> increases understanding of the use of creativity in counseling. </i>Previous awards were given to research on a) resiliency and creativity in survivors of a natural disaster, b) bibliotherapeutic practices of professional counselors, and c) the therapeutic value of digital storytelling. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>The deadline for submissions for this year’s grants, to be awarded at the ACC Business Meeting at the ACA Conference in New Orleans, is <b>November 30, 2010</b>.
