I am sure many of them would like to promote or encourage their students to apply for this new opportunity provided by OSCA. Thank you.

OSCA announces that we will be offering for the first time a new graduate student scholarship program that will award two (2) $500 scholarships to deserving graduate students. Students must be current members of OSCA, attend a school counseling graduate program in Ohio and have completed at least 6 credit hours. You can view more details and download an application at the OSCA site by visiting the page under the Grants, Awards and Scholarships tabs on the left. Many of you who teach classes will want to market this opportunity to your students, especially those who are not members and would benefit to join and attempt to apply. Also, you will likely be asked to provide letters of support for students applying and may likely receive emails from the OSCA administrative assistant to verify a student's application or status if in question. If you have any questions about this new opportunity, please contact Shawn Grime at shawngrime@ohioschoolcounselor.org. We hope this new opportunity strengthens our commitment to student members and to the future of the profession.

--

Shawn Grime, LPSC, NBCT
Ohio School Counselor Association President
2010-2011

Visit OSCA at http://www.ohioschoolcounselor.org to see all we have to offer.
