The successful candidate will teach a variety of counseling graduate classes in a CACREP accredited program leading to degrees in school and mental health counseling. In addition, this faculty member will advise graduate students and will be expected to engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to integrating diversity into courses taught. </span><br><span></span><br><span>An earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution and an accredited Counselor education program is required. Preference will be given to graduates of or those who have taught in a CACREP accredited program. Preference will be given to individuals who hold a school counselor certification and/or to individuals who are licensed for independent practice (LPC), and have three years post masters experience in a school counseling or mental health setting. </span><br><span></span><br><span>The person hired in this position may also be required to teach at one of our distance education sites or in another distance education modality. This position will remain open until filled.
