<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The CACREP Research Initiative for Graduate Students (CRIGS) program offers opportunities to current CACREP graduate students to become a CRIGS Research Fellow for a one year term. Research Fellows will collaborate
with one another, as well as with CACREP Staff, to engage in research endeavors that mirror and support CACREP’s vision, mission, and values. Research Fellows involved in the CRIGS program will have the unique opportunity to be involved in scholarly endeavors
that align with the goals and objectives of the CACREP Research Agenda. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">CACREP will cover the cost of research materials (i.e., copies, surveys, etc.). No stipend is guaranteed to Research Fellows in the CRIGS program. However, there are monetary incentives to encourage the production
of scholarly work that has potential to impact the counseling profession. If the CRIGS team publishes their research in a national refereed journal, each member will be awarded a
<b>$1,000 </b>stipend. If the team presents their research at a national conference, each member will be awarded a
<b>$500 </b>stipend. Publications in professional magazines or state journals, as well as regional or state conference presentations, will result in each member being awarded a
<b>$250 </b>stipend. Research Fellows can only earn one stipend at each level, with a maximum total earning potential of
<b>$1,750 </b>per Research Fellow. (<i>Note: As with other CACREP research projects, all data will be owned by CACREP and students will need CACREP approval prior to publishing or presenting their findings through professional venues.</i>)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span>CACREP will appoint two CRIGS Research Fellows for 2016 and base decisions on applicant qualifications and experience. Applicants must be a master’s or doctoral level student currently enrolled in a CACREP-accredited program to be considered. Additionally,
students applying to participate in the CRIGS program should have successfully completed graduate coursework related to statistical analysis and research methods. Preference will be given to graduate students who are members of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI).<o:p></o:p></p>
