<b>Assistant Professor of Counseling</b>. The position will begin August 2023. Our Counseling Program consists of concentrations in clinical mental health counseling; marriage, couple, and family counseling; and school counseling. Ideal candidates will be able
 to contribute to course development and teaching in our marriage, couples, and family counseling concentration while also teaching in other content areas.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<br>
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited University conferred by hire date.<br>
Counseling, supervision, and teaching experience (preferably campus-based) in counselor education.<br>
Ability to engage in professional service, leadership, and advocacy.<br>
Identity as a professional counselor as evidenced by involvement in professional counseling associations.<br>
Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana.<br>
<br>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<br>
Ability to contribute to teaching and course/curriculum development in our marriage, couple, and family counseling concentration.<br>
Engagement with marriage and family professional associations.<br>
A pattern of presenting at counseling professional conferences.<br>
Ability to publish in counseling journals.<br>
