Here is a great opportunity for you to participate in cutting-edge research in Communication Sciences.


We need male, non-smokers between the age of 18 to 40 years to take part in a research on swallowing.


The experiment session will take about 1.5 hours maximum and you get $10 in return for your time.

The specific requirements are:



Ø  Your age is between 18 to 40 years or 60 years and above 

Ø  You have no history of difficulty swallowing food and liquids (dysphagia)

Ø  You have had no neurologic or head and neck impairments or history of neck injury

Ø  You are a nonsmoker or have discontinued smoking for the past five years

Ø  You have no taste or smell deficits

Ø  You have no gastrointestinal disorders that affect your swallowing

Ø  You are not undergoing treatments or taking medication that can affect your swallowing function
