 7-10am). The Masonboro Island Reserve is a state nature preserve and part of the NC National Estuarine Research Reserve. This three-hour field trip will include a paddle through a nearly pristine tidal creek and marsh system to Masonboro Island, where you
 can enjoy a walk along the beach on this undeveloped barrier island. Along the way, you may even spot some diamondback terrapins! There are a limited number of kayaks that can be reserved, or bring your own if you are able. There is a minimum $20 donation
 to DWTG to participate, payable at the meeting. If you are interested in paddling with us, please see the
