Attached and below, you will find information on the Ohio Third Frontier Internship Program.  The Ohio Third Frontier Internship Program connects motivated college students with internship opportunities in early-stage technology companies across Ohio. and click on the Student Application button. Your resume will be sent to companies in the program seeking interns, and the traditional interview process will proceed from there.

We're looking for the following types of students:

-                    Students pursuing degrees ranging from the associate level through the doctoral level, with a strong focus on recruiting students from minority, underrepresented and rural populations

-                    Students from all disciplines, with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), marketing, business and communications backgrounds

-                    Students with the following character traits:

*                   Desire to Learn - The ability and willingness to learn new skills as needed

*                   Ability to Thrive Amidst Ambiguity - Tolerance for an unstructured environment, and ability to self-select tasks and projects

*                   Passion - A personal connection with the company mission and their contribution to it

*                   Scrappiness and Grit - Ability to get things done, despite difficulty, setbacks, and resource constraints

*                   Willingness to Put Company Before Oneself - Makes decisions based on what is best for the company

*                   Excellence at Collaboration - Ability to work as part of a team

Program details:

-                    Currently recruiting students for Spring and Summer Semesters, 2016

-                    Internships will last between 3 - 12 months

-                    Internships will be located across the state

-                    Drawing companies mainly from the Ohio Third Frontier network and portfolio, but open to all qualified Ohio companies

-                    Up to $10,000 per internship, with a $5,000 contribution from company, leading to a possible $15,000 internship opportunity

Company Qualification:

-                    Less than 75 employees

-                    Less than 7 years in business

-                    In one of Ohio Third Frontier Technology Focus Areas
