DESCRIPTION;LANGUAGE=en-US:Abstract:\n\nInformation security in the present
day is highly centralized\, i.e. users have to trust third parties to ens
ure that their data is encrypted. Web 3.0 eliminates this problem entirely
by removing the centralized power and using other methods of verification
to determine the accuracy of information on the internet. However\, a lac
k of data ownership isn’t specific to the internet. Hundreds of millions
of data breaches occur every year\, including those carried out by social
engineers\; when a sense of urgency is created\, users don’t ask themse
lves “is this person phishing me?” and as humans regularly think about
many things at once\, it is easy for them to leave their personal belongi
ngs lying around\, much less forget to encrypt their plaintext messages. T
he COVID-19 pandemic has influenced a surge in internet activity. In addit
ion to an increase in time spent on social media\, jobs and learning insti
tutions have taken online-only platforms. A mass migration to online work
and education renders a demand for trust\, validation\, and work-context m
anagement. Once knowledge and skills are acquired\, they are permanent and
cannot be transferred\, duplicated\, or stolen\; users have complete owne
rship of their knowledge and skills\, as they are non-fungible.\n\nBio:\nC
hristiana Chamon Garcia received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Houston\, Houston\, TX\, USA\, in 2017 and the M.S
. and and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Texas A&M Universit
y\, College Station\, TX\, USA\, in 2020 and 2022\, respectively. She is a
n Instructional Assistant Professor for the Department of Computer Science
and Engineering at Texas A&M University\, College Station\, TX\, USA.\nIn
2016 she was a Hardware Design Intern and in 2017 a Product Management In
tern with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In 2022\, she was an Applications En
gineer at Vidatronic Inc. Her research interests include unconditional (in
formation-theoretic) security over the wire\, unconditionally secure elect
ronics design\, noise-based logic\, human-computer interaction\, challengi
ng scientific dogma\, analog electronics design for security applications\
, and engineering education.\nDr. Garcia is a 2020-2021 Ebensberger Fellow
and a member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)\, Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)\, Eta Kappa Nu (HKN)\, and Gol
den Key International Honor Society.\n\n__________________________________
