Applications are now being accepted for the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education, SOCHE, 2016 Summer Internship Program.  This summer will mark the sixth consecutive year that students will get hands-on experience working with professors in world-class labs, solving real-world problems.  Please help me by letting students know about this SOCHE internship that will enable them to earn money while advancing their education and building their resumes.

Students will apply through the common application on the www.SOCHEIntern.org< http://www.SOCHEIntern.org 
> website.  They just need to check the "WPAFB Summer Internship Program" box when filling out the application.  An "Apply Now" button is clearly labeled on the program page.

Process and program requirements:

  *   Students must be US citizens.
  *   Any major can apply, but usually only STEM students are chosen.
  *   For first consideration, apply by February 8, 2016
  *   There is no minimum GPA.
  *   Students will work full time for the summer (40 hours per week).
