Attention Sophomores! DuPont Washington Works is looking to hire multiple students for rotational co-ops in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. There is an extra demand for Electrical Engineering candidates. If you are currently a sophomore and would like to work as a co-op at DuPont, please follow the instructions below. DuPont Washington Works has several CoOp positions open for ChemE, ME and EE engineering students, beginning May 2016. A CoOp position with DuPont is a great way of gaining approximately 12 months of real-world, hands-on engineering experience, plus earn a great salary, and make additional contacts and friends as well. Many companies today (including DuPont) won't hire graduating seniors who don't have at least 6 months of CoOp/Intern experience. The minimum qualifications to be a CoOp are: - Be enrolled in a ABET accredited ChemE, EE or ME university program. - Be at end of sophomore year in major courses at May 2016. - Have 3.0 or higher overall GPA. - Be able to work: Summer '16, Spring '17, Fall '17 semesters, a Summer '18 term is optional If you are interested, all you have to do is: 1) Apply to one of the following links Chemical Engineer Co-op/Intern: http://careers.dupont.com/jobsearch/job-details/chemical-engineer-co-opintern/MT_Coop_CHE16/ Electrical Engineer Co-op/Intern: http://careers.dupont.com/jobsearch/job-details/electrical-engineer-co-opintern/MT_Coop_EE_16/ Mechanical Engineer Co-op/Intern: http://careers.dupont.com/jobsearch/job-details/mechanical-engineer-co-opintern/MT_Coop_ME16/ 2) Reply back to me and let me know you've applied so I can link your resume to the application. - Matt Taylor - Matthew.C.Taylor at dupont.com <mailto: Matthew.C.Taylor at dupont.com > 3) Contact Dean Pidcock, Director of Professional Experiences to let him know you are interested in co-op with DuPont - pidcockd at ohio.edu <mailto: pidcockd at ohio.edu > I have an interview day scheduled at OU for 11/5 and so will be working to fill the schedule with folks who are interested.
