The Edwards Accelerator Laboratory (EAL) on the campus of Ohio University is seeking applicants for an undergraduate summer internship in engineering research and development. The successful applicant will work with the EAL accelerator and nuclear instrumentation engineers on development projects. Specific projects will be tailored to the skillset of the applicant, where example projects include circuit design and testing for data acquisition instrumentation and creation of mechanical drawings of EAL components in preparation for facility upgrades. Employment will be for up to 27 hours per week at a wage of $12/hour. Desired experience includes upper-level coursework in mechanical or electrical engineering. Prior internship experience is advantageous, but not required.
