The Bioinformatics Laboratory has opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate thesis research. Internships may be available for highly qualified students. Bioinformatics combines biological and computational research to enhance the scientific understanding of life, including how and why diseases like cancer, multiple sclerosis and diabetes appear and progress. Our bioinformatics research projects have produced new software tools to analyze genomic data, creating a downstream effect on numerous areas of science and medicine. If you are interested in becoming a bioinformatics researcher, please contact Professor Welch, welch at ohio.edu <mailto: welch at ohio.edu >. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
