Subject: Graduate Student Opportunity: Applications Open for 2018 CRA-W Grad Cohort for Women

Dear Dr. Juedes,

The Computing Research Association (CRA) would like to encourage graduate students from Ohio University to participate in a skill-building and mentoring workshop designed specifically for women in computing. All travel expenses are reimbursed for this workshop.

The 2018 CRA-W Grad Cohort Workshop< http://cra.org/cra-w/events/grad-cohort-women-2018/
>, a two-day workshop for female students in their first, second, or third year of graduate school in computing fields, will be held April 13-14, 2018 in San Francisco, CA. The application is available here< https://parasol.tamu.edu/craw/production/apps/craw_gradcohort/applicant/
> and closes November 30.

The workshop aims to increase the ranks of senior women in computing-related studies and research by building and mentoring nationwide communities of women through their graduate studies. Female students in their first, second, or third year of graduate school in computing fields are eligible to apply.

Please urge your female graduate students to apply today!

Funding is available for selected applicants.

Thank you,
Claire Brady
