Dear Emeriti Colleagues:

It was so good to see many of you at the September luncheon. There were over 50 emeriti in attendance to dine, socialize and hear comments from Dr. Donald Leo, Executive Vice President and Provost of Ohio University. Thanks to Emeriti Association secretary Drew McDaniel and Chalisa McDaniel for preparing the summary and providing the photos. Much appreciated!!

The October Emeriti luncheon will be held at the Ohio University Inn 2nd floor Ballroom on October 17th beginning at 11:30am. Our speaker will be Dr. Matthew Ando, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. I have also asked our OCHER representative, Mike Williford, to give a report of the state of affairs with STRS and OPERS. The lunch will be a soup and salad buffet with many fixings. The cost will be $25 per person. Please be prepared to pay with exact cash or check made out to the OU Emeriti Association. Spouses/significant others  of course are invited to attend.

If you and/or your spouse plan to attend the luncheon please RSVP by 5pm Thursday October 10th .  You can RSVP by sending an email to Alan or Sue Boyd at suenboyd at gmail.com
