Now more than ever, high-need urban and rural secondary schools need dedicated and powerful teachers in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship recruits high achieving candidates who have the drive to become teachers—including graduating college seniors, recent graduates, armed forces veterans, and mid-career and second-career professionals. Fellows begin with an intensive master’s degree program interwoven with a full year in the classroom, then commit to teaching for at least three years in a high-need urban or rural school district.
