Hi,

The OU Dept of Geography has a relationship with Zanesville County to provide student interns whenever possible. Last year we had one of our students work with them and they are again in need of another student GIS intern. The focus for this position will be centered on producing mapping for the land use element of the Comprehensive Plan effort. As with the last intern, they will not be expected to regularly commute to Zanesville, but they will want  to occasionally meet with the intern here for planning and direction purposes. They will be moving into the land use portion of the plan in early September, and we would like to have someone on board by that time if possible. If any of you want to work with them-and I expect many current students should---please contact me immediately.
