Hello all,

The Buckeye Trail Association ( http://www.buckeyetrail.org
) is looking for some GIS assistance. They will be flexible with a student and their class/school requirements. If you are interested in getting some practical experience and have time contact Andrew whose contact is provided below.

The internship will require you to do the following:

- Cleaning up 1,400+ mile Buckeye Trail line. It has all been GPS'ed at one point.
- Segmenting the line at numerous logical points around the state for management purposes.
- Creating a clean polyline
- Assessing the line and data entry to designate type of allowable trail use, type of land protection, etc.
- Analyzing the data to determine number of miles managed by various agencies.
- Creation of various computer cartography products from this data including statewide maps with the trail that highlight some of the above for promotional or management purposes.
- Other tasks as identified.
