Dear Sir or Madam, I work at Lake Metroparks Wildlife Center and we offer many opportunities for students to complete internships at our facility. The Wildlife Center is an environmental education, wildlife rehabilitation and research facility. We present over 350 outreach programs a year and rehabilitate over 2,000 native Ohio wildlife annually. As a public service facility, we also have a "wildlife hotline" and an active volunteer group. Our facility is a great place for students interested in the field of biology or a related field to gain hands on experience with wildlife rehabilitation, programming skills, public speaking and animal enrichment and training. If your college offers credit for internships we certainly can work with the student to meet your requirements or they can complete an internship to gain experience with Ohio's wildlife. Enclosed is a posting of new intern availability. I would appreciate if you would consider posting the enclosed flier where necessary so students may apply if interested. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me. Thank you for your time.
